Nourish Yoga Flow
This is a 50-minute session that provides light stretching and strength movements inspired by yoga and dance practices. These sessions are for people with no prior experience in dance or yoga who are looking to start a soft and steady path to giving their bodies the care it needs by engaging in activities that increase dopamine levels to reduce stress and improve their overall sense of well-being. Embark in our gentle flows where we will also practice relaxation techniques that can help a person attain a state of increased calmness; or otherwise reduce levels of pain, anxiety or stress. By the fourth class you will realize how these sessions improve your body coordination, articulation, and balance using the fundamentals behind yoga and dance practices. Bring athletic, comfortable clothes and a yoga mat. Classes are done barefoot.
Latin Rhythms
Our Beginners Latin Rhythms class is specially designed for adults who want to learn and enjoy dancing to various Latin beats. This class aims to boost your energy levels while you learn basic steps and practice them to rhythms like cumbia, merengue, bachata, and salsa. The class will begin with a light stretch and warm-up to prepare you for dancing. As the class progresses, you will be introduced to four new steps in each session, which will be practiced through all four classes. You'll gradually dance to various fun songs. Towards the end of each class, we'll do an activity where participants can mix and match the steps to a song in their own unique way, helping everyone feel comfortable dancing without the pressure of following specific steps.
The class offers a positive good-humored environment, making it the perfect introduction to Latin dances for those who are curious and ready to explore something fun.

As the class progresses, we'll pair up and switch partners during class. We will tap into foundational concepts for leading and following, partnering techniques, basic footwork, momentum, and rhythm. Movement variations will be explored, and communication skills in social settings will be emphasized.
